Apple Spiced Tea

Up until a year ago, I was a die-hard coffee drinker.  A change in my eating habits also led to one in my drinking habits as well, and I've actually found quite a few teas that I enjoy. One of them is an apple spiced version, but it's not always available at my grocery store.  I searched the Taste of Home site and found this version from Susan W.

I didn't make any changes to this recipe other than to use some dried sliced ginger root instead of the fresh.  I used New Hampshire made apple cider from a local orchard. I like this recipe because it's easy to scale up for multiple servings, and I suspect it will be just as delicious over ice when the warmer weather hits.

  1. Mmm...sounds so warm and comforting. It's chilly this morning I could definitely use a cup. I'm sure this is better than store-bought.

I'm a huge fan of the Dunkin Donuts Power Breakfast sandwich, so when I started seeing ads for the new Egg White & Veggie Omelet Bites I stopped in and gave them a try.  They were delicious, but of course, I knew I could make them at home.

Stuffed Waffles

I wasn't sure I was going to blog these stuffed waffles since it was the first time I tried using the new iron but since I'd already taken the pics as I went I figured, why not? They aren't perfect but they are delicious!

Copycat Dunkin Donuts Bacon and Cheddar Omelet Bites

Since I already came up with a version of Dunkin Donuts new Egg White & Veggie Omelet Bites for myself, I decided to make the other variety that they are offering, Bacon & Cheddar, for my husband.
