 It has been such a hot summer that we've barely gotten any use out of our fire pit. My son has been despondent over the lack of s'mores so when I chose my recipes for this year's Summer Dessert Week I had to make sure I included some form of them.

If there's one thing that's always a hit around here it's something that contains chocolate chips. Since I am signed up for the Taste of Home Bakeable newsletter I got an early heads up that the challenge for October was going to  be Chocolate Chip Blondies.

These rich, fudgy brownies with a glossy chocolate chip glaze are easy to make with pantry staples and bake in under 30 minutes. Perfect for a quick dessert or topped with ice cream for a sundae treat.
