I've had a chocolate craving for several days that I haven't been able to kick.   I kept going back to this recipe for Chocolate Glazed Donuts over and over again on Pinterest.   Finally this morning I broke out the donut pans. 

This is one of those recipes that I've been making variations of for years.  They're great for game day, great for get togethers, great for pre or post-holiday meal appetizers. These Smoky Bacon Wraps are just three ingredients and you can prep them ahead of time and pop them in the oven whenever.

My great aunt used to make these and when she passed away, the recipe was lost. I found this on the internet about 10 years ago, and it was very close.  I haven't made them in a while since my guys have nut allergies, but my dad asked for them this year.
