Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare sugar cookie dough according to package directions using butter and egg.
- Fill silicone egg-shaped molds with about 1 tablespoon of dough each, pressing evenly. Do not overfill. Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake 11–14 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
- While cookies are still hot, press a shallow indentation into the center of each.
- Let cookies cool completely in the molds on the baking sheet, then remove.
- Pipe yellow frosting into the indentation to create the yolk. Sprinkle with red sanding sugar to finish, if desired.
