FAQ

Can I use a different tequila?

Yes. Blanco tequila is the traditional choice, but reposado tequila also works if you prefer a slightly richer flavor.

Can I use bottled lime juice?

Fresh lime juice provides the best flavor, but bottled lime juice can be used in a pinch.

Can I use something besides salt on the rim?

Yes. Instead of kosher salt, try rimming the glass with TajĆn for a zesty, mildly spicy twist that pairs well with the grapefruit and lime.

Can I make a pitcher for a party?

Yes. Combine the tequila and lime juice and refrigerate. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice, pour in the tequila mixture, then add the grapefruit soda.

Is a Paloma sweet?

A Paloma has a balance of sweet, tart, and slightly bitter citrus flavors. The sweetness will vary depending on the grapefruit soda you use.
