2026 Alphabet Challenge

I'm participating in a bi-weekly challenge with some blogging friends to post recipes using all of the letters in the alphabet.  It can feature a food that begins with the letter of the week or the recipe name can contain the week's letter.

A is for Arancini

Arancini are Italian rice balls that are crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, and perfect dipped in marinara.

B is for Banana and Brown Sugar

This Brown Sugar Banana Bread is soft, moist, and deeply flavored with very ripe bananas and warm spices.

C is for Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Crescent Rolls

Chocolate Chip Crescent Roll Cookies are a mashup dessert that combines flaky crescent dough with soft chocolate chip cookie dough.

D is for Dirty

The Dirty Shirley is a grown-up version of the classic Shirley Temple, with vodka, Sprite, and grenadine for the familiar flavor and bright red color, finished with cherries and a squeeze of lime.

E is for Empanadas

Baked Beef Empanadas are simple, oven-baked hand pies filled with lightly spiced ground beef.

F is for Funfetti

Fluffy, festive Funfetti Pancakes, with colorful sprinkles folded into the batter.

Whipped honey is smooth, creamy, and easy to spread straight from the jar. The thick texture makes it perfect for toast, biscuits, charcuterie boards, and more.

Easy Stuffed Waffles with Sweet and Savory Fillings

Stuffed waffles are a fun twist on the classic waffle—crispy on the outside and packed with tasty fillings inside. I recently got a stuffed waffle maker, and I’m loving how it turns waffles into little pockets of deliciousness! The best part? You don’t need a strict recipe because this is a perfect “clean out the fridge” meal. Grab whatever leftovers or fillings you have on hand, stuff ’em inside, and waffle away! Here’s what I tried this time, but feel free to get creative and make it your own.
